Three of us heading down on Thursday to the FoD. It’s my old stomping ground, but been so long that I’ll not have a clue where to go from pedalabikeaway. Any locals about Thursday that would be kind enough to guide us, or email me a garmin course?

    Looking for 20 or 25 mile loop…

Reward in tea and cake if a stop is possible.

Lawnmower has changed, first half is not great, second half is as good as ever was. Dr johns is fine but will be a mudfest on the first bit…as usual.

That reminds me – a few months ago was driving to pedalbikeaway, and passed a set of doubles visible from the road, I didn’t have time to stop and record the GPS location and never got time to go back as we were up visiting friends.

I think, if you come out of PBA turn right, end of the road, right again, they were on the left – not 100% sure though – any locals know if I’m thinking of the right location?

Does anyone have these loops ready to go for the Garmin Edge’s? Complete with turn by turn directions!? 😐

I saw some jumps too on the way back on Sunday! Looked quite big, not used much and in someones garden..

You are 🙂 They’ve been there for years, most local riders will have played there at some point in the last 20 years or so. They’re at a place called Broadwell.

Unfortunately I’m working Thursday otherwise I’d have offered to show you around mcobie. Don’t do electronic so unable to help with downloads, sorry 🙁

Guys at the PaBA centre will help though.

there is a gpx on the fodmtb site for the enduro routes which were good fun this year, though not sure how logging would affect them…

I was taken round the FoD via the following route last year, no idea if all the trails are still open:

That’s a cracking route DoctorRad, very similar to one I used to show people round on (but not exactly the same) – who took you round?
Would do well to put it all together without a guide but should all still be rideable with possibly just a few local diversions 8)

The logging is only effecting parts of the verderers at the moment, they have also put a diversion in place

@psling – it was a RetroBike ride in 2011, can’t remember who led it though…

Ah, may have been me or possibly Sheldon; either way I’m sure Big Ed was involved 8)

Or it could have been me , I led most of the 2011 and all the 2012 Retrobike rides around the FoD
