I’ve just opened a .htm file within DW to do some updates. For some reason, when I put the cursor in the table, it displays a “no entry” symbol. Therefore I cannot select text / delete text etc..

    Any ideas anybody?

Is it in it’s silly template mode?

Just open it in a proper application like textedit. Dreamweaver is just an overpriced text editor.

I’m trying to update a qualtiy procedure and our manuf’ director is not impressed…

While we are on topic, what’s the best text edit for the mac? Of the free variety?

You could try TextEdit – should be already installed as part of the operating system!
