If so, do you know what the eyesight requirements are for the Pulhheems entrance medical? Ideally the corrected vision requirements. Im looking at Nursing Officer entry, but dont wnat to waste my, or their time if my eyesight isnt upto standard, which it might not be. Ive been in touch with various people, who seem slightly reluctant to give the info out for some reason, and the websites dont have the info available either.

Click the link and have a look at the vision standards 2008

    Any use?

spot on…..i hope it makes more sense to the optician than it does to me. Anything beyond the bogstandard Snellen Chart is gobbledegook to me.

I’m also considering this (though not as an officer).

I could be (very) wrong, but as far as I can tell, the eyesight requirements for QAs are more relaxed than for other trades (plus, an older limit on entry age). Leastways, that’s what my initial enquiries have suggested…
