Got a new frame on it’s way.

It has a tapered head tube, I have a headset that I can convert from tapered to 1 1/8th, so have a bit of freedom of choice.

Anyone spotted any good fork deals?

Tempted by some Revelations, but open to suggestions.

Got Hope hub so 15mm or 20mm axle.

Hopefully around the £400 mark (or less!), could nudge it up a bit for something reet tasty.

Hmmmm……Merlin appear to have some Revelation RL and RLT in stock at the right money.

They don’y have the tech info up yet as they are 2013 models.

Anyone know the difference between RL and RLT

Lovely fork with superb internals/adjustability and a sublime action but hopelessly noodly in 150mm guise. The chassis is stretched beyond its capabilities imho.

I’ve had two of them and although the tapered steerer improves backwards-and-forwards twanginess and a thru-axle stops the legs twisting there’s still a lot of sideways deflection especially in corners. With all due respect if you’re riding round fields and bridleways all day you will probably think they’re great but they are light for a reason.
