Ok so I know it’s roadie content but is anyone else doing the Anthony Maynard sportive this sunday? Will be my first and I’m excited, probably gonna kill me however!

I’ll be marshlling, its a cracking route, dont underestimate the long route though, whilst not having the big hills of many sportives its pretty lumpy. I’ve never ridden it due to injury but used to ride around the area a lot, including with Anthony who was a properly nice bloke.

Done 110 kms in the wet , great fun

Soaked to the skin but loved i, did it in 4hrs 23 mins which wasn’t bad for my first sportive IMO of course!
