Easy peasy and if you know how flickr works you can even get it bigger

Follow these steps:
1 Right Click on the picture on the screen in flickr / pinkbike etc.
2 Go to properties
3 Copy all of what is written in Address (URL)
4 In STW forum type
7 Looking at the screen you now have “http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3544/3351708125_6391a2b4a2.jpg%5B/img%5D
8 Job done

Moses – Have you “allowed” scripted windows? IIf you have then try opening up the picture properties and copying the location into the scripted window.

Ooops it read my instructions as a picture!!

Try again:

1 Right Click on the picture on the screen in flickr / pinkbike etc.
2 Go to properties
3 Copy all of what is written in Address (URL)
4 In STW forum click the IMG button
5 Paste the info that you copied in point 3 into the box over the Http:// thats already there
6 Click OK
7 Looking at the screen you now have [ img ]http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3544/3351708125_6391a2b4a2.jpg[ /img ] (not with spaces)
8 Job done

Hmm.

Moses, it looks like if you followed that to the tee you havent got scripted windows allowed – my computer prompts me when i click the button at the top of the window if I want to allow them, if your does too click yes. If not you’ll have to go into yuour web browsers security settings and hunt down the toggle for scripted windows. Google it I reckons. Hope that sorts your problem.

Easier version: (for Flickr)

Find pic, click ‘all sizes’ near the top of the pic. Scroll down, copy and paste the text below the photo and paste it into your post. No tags, no pop up boxes, and you keep flickr happy as it includes the link back to their site. You even get the name of the photo etc when you hover over it 🙂

I think that term is misleading, and should be “Javascript disabled”. Javascript is embedded stuff in a browser window which allows improved functionality, and is usually quite safe to enable, particularly if you use NoScript (in Firefox)

to use the web properly these days you need javascript enabled. AJAX needs/is it, and you need AJAX.
