Following on from the marathon I ran about a month ago, (which was hard at the time but now looking back seemed easy) I have decided to do a 50 mile run/march over the Three Peaks loop with a 55lb bergen and in 20 hours averaging a speed of 2.5 miles per hour.
The three peaks route is 25 miles so I'll do it twice.

I want to join the Para's so I thought doing all the training before I join when I finish University, will then make it easy. (that's the theory). The idea of a 55lb bergen and 50mile route etc. comes from the SAS selection, the only difference is that they do 40 miles but because I cant be arsed drawing it all out on a map I thought I'd take the easy option and take an existing route and just do it twice.

Any advice on food, clothing, way round to do it etc. would be greatly appreciated

    cheers

I have no advice to offer, but clearly you're mental, and best of luck!! Based on your previous exploits you'll be fine!:)
