Actually it's own designs to dry transfer (i.e. like 'Letraset'!), not adhesive vinyl. I'm sure it can be done, just can't find out how & who.

Have you rang a sign shop? I know what your on about, so you can laquer over em, the dry transfers dont stand quite as proud as vinyl.. And I guess you are thinking of something more elaborate than a single colour graphic?.
The sign shop will also let you know what format to send your design, the ones I had done in vinyl I sent in as .ai illustrator format, but fairly certain they can take most formats. I even had some stickers made for a motorbike I restored and just took in an old tatty sticker I managed to get about 80% of off, and they scanned it and made it from that.

Thanks tinsy. Yep idea is to attach dry transfers before the lacquer coat. Haven't phoned anywhere (yet). Thought i'd draw on the wisdom of the stw first

You will need to screen print dry transfers
Quite an involved expensive process for one off jobs, especially if you are looking for a multi colured image
Would be better getting somebody to digitally print onto a clear polyester material, just make sure you don't oven bake the frame to cure the clear coat
