This has probably been done before, but what the hell ๐Ÿ˜†

Place photos of amusing place names here, they can be towns, streets, pubs, caffs. Anything like that.

I got a yellow card last time I posted a village name on a thread like this. Turned it it was made up.

Minge Lane in Upton on Severn. Sign is now concreted into the wall.

Cockshot Road is only just down from Hornyold Road in Malvern.

Got to love the Slaughters (Upper & Lower) on the top of the Cotswolds.

Boringly enough, Hornyold is a local family name. Rather than anything more racy.

I'm currently working in Cockermouth.

Tomorrow I will be going for a shop ride with 4 Play Cycles in Cockermouth, looking forward to it.

There's a copse just round the corner from me called 'Hum Hole'.

I'm astonished that the sign has not been modified.

Stamford has a 'Melancholy Way'. Slight hijack but I was amused last week to be reading about a trial presided over by a lady judge called Merry Cocks.

Friend of mine used to live on a road called Butts Mount.
