I already have the echo music plan, the £3.99 per month one, on an echo dot. My new echo plus arrived today.

Does anyone know how to transfer the echo plan from the dot to the plus? I get you have to upgrade to use multiple devices, but I don’t want to use it on both devices, the dot is redundant now.

I’ve cancelled my current subscription and reset the dot so it doesn’t appear in the Alexa app anymore, but I think I have to wait until my subscription lapses in a couple of weeks to then renew it through the echo plus. If that doesn’t work and it still wants me to upgrade to the full price subscription then I might as well send the plus back.
