Thinking of scratching my itch for something to replace my 26″ hardtail thats

a) as racey/stiff as my old cannondale hardtail
b) lighter than my sanderson
c) 29’er
d) cheeper than an anthem-x

Could be tempted by a singular swift if anyones selling one though on looks alone! 18″ or 19″ frames.

It’s a thread on 29’ers, someone on STW must have an oppionion!

Cdale Scalpel or Scott Scale 29er? No idea on price comparison though.

Cdale scalpel 29er is a thing of beauty alright – first 29er I’ve seen that makes me want to ride one. Probably work out 5 times the cost of a scandal though.

Could get a secondhand CAAD4 or 5 off ebay – miles classier than the scandal, cheap but obv not 29er.

There is a chap selling a Sigular Swift frame at the moment. His build looks really very nice!

Giant XTC 29er could be a good call. I’m waiting for their 2012 bikes to come out.
