    I don’t know for sure but usually its just suspension fluid – from any motorbike shop – does it have a specification?

    its just to lube up the air can seals on fox float rear shock so would sus oil do the job

    I just used some Halfords 7.5wt suspension fluid last time I did mine

    you need something nice and thick, 15wt, float fluid (its a nice colour), red rum, i have know people to use engine assembly oil, not sure how that treats the seals though.

    Just get some float fluid! its designed for the shocks

    If you’re looking for the float fluid, rather than the fork oil, I think it’s rebadged Torco assembly fluid. There’s a chap on wiki called PVD I think. He’s got a massive article and comparison table about different fluids. All the mtb brands are something else rebadged.
