  • All Shimano HT2 bbs still compatible with their cranks?

    Got an older M542 (Deore level) chainset that needs a new external HT2 bottom bracket.

    Are they still all cross compatible, or do I need to be wary of the newer BB52 etc. ones in terms of fit/compatibility?

    Just get a standard Shimano HT2 BB and you’ll be fine
