    My alfine seems to have developed a fault. Every now and then the drag, If you can call it drag, suddenly increases dramatically. It will stay this way for a while then right itself. It’s not because of the cold as it’s very mild where I am. The hub is about 2 years old with no maintenance apart from cleaning after each ride.
    The drag can be felt when pedalling clockwise and anti.

    Any ideas?
