Our car is beyond economical repair, and we were planing to buy a new or nearly new car in just under two years.
Our Punto went on for 12 faultless years, but now too much needs doing on top of the dents from when my wife was a nurse and it suffered at the car doors of hospital visitors.

Anyhow. I like the look of those little 147’s. I walk or cycle but the mrs is in and out locally all day.
    Opinions?

Mate of mine had one, it was a nice place to sit, and a decent drive.
Went well for a 1.6 too.
make sure the timing belt has been done recently, as his snapped.

Check clutch as well as a work colleague bought one from the woman who sat next to her in work and the clutch went and she had a £900 bill .Cue awkward silences at work lol

If it has a service history as long as the hand brake cable, go for it.

If it doesn’t, or you think it’s been owned by someone that’s skimped on it, get something else.

Alfa’s like regular servicing (I own an alfa)

TBH all bangers should be bought in SH / condition
