Blimey! You know the ones, its been at the back of the cupboard for years, you play it and……BAM!

    I'll start

    Beck Odelay!

Can't believe how good it is, sure it was great 14 years ago but now playing it today I now realize just how 'progressive' it was…

chemical brothers were my favourite act when I was about 13, mostly I think because they were cool but not chart cool and you had to like a cool band when you were that age. Just started running more and wanted some beat heavy music, dug their first album and I'm sure its better now I can appreciate it more than just being cool!

First Aynsley Lister one. Bought it, listened a couple of times, put it away. Dug it out a few years later and it had somehow matured, like fine chocolate.

Sabbath, Sabotage. Anything by them actually. He says as he watches AC/DC live at Donnington… After being a metal kid I went around the houses but now firmly back on 'old school' metal. Priest's British Steel and Screaming for Vengeance are also been played lots.

Scarily I too looked out Odelay 3 nights ago for the car , played Novocaine at 17 on the stereo ( i don't even know how loud it goes but thats about 4 louder than anything else iv'e ever had on) Prior to that it was Repeater by Fugazi, hadn't played that in its entirity for probably 5 years. also very loud in the car.
both blinding albums from my mid 20's.
