If this is in the wrong forum I apologise.

Any advice about this Muddy Fox Mountain Bike from Tesco. Is this a good deal? Is it a good bike?

I have never a go on a Muddy Fox. Wondered what people thought.

It is for his birthday. It is also probably the same as all his friends have.

Depends what he wants it for. Is it just for riding round the neiboughood or does he want to get into mountainbiking? Also how old is he?

If you go to Halfords or look on their website at the Carrera or GT bikes at that price range you get a MUCH better bike, especially with some of the discounts they have at the moment.

try and avoid full suspension at that price and as above Halfords do some great deals.

Don’t want to be too blunt, but all the bikes form Tescos are nasty, heavy and won’t last very long as they are poor quality.
Like Robinbetts said, Halfords have got some better bikes at that price. The Carreras they sell are ok
