I've never worn elbow/forearm or knee/shin pads before. Starting to go out mountain biking with a group who tend to use them – after the last outing I can see why.

Any advice please on what I should get – don't want to spend a lot in case I don't like them. Looking at some on CRC each in the sub £20 bracket but not at all sure.

Any help appreciated. Male – in my late 40's – mostly cross country, bike trails, some downhill
