LoCo – didn’t you get one of the 853 Classics? In blue? Or am I mixing you up with someone else?

Yes had a MK1, Mk2 & 853 classic which was run at 130mm with revs, going from a 19.5″ albert to 21.5″ 29er has helped my back no end, if dialled made a 21″ would have had one of them.

Ah, happy days. Just realised how long I’ve had it – been a while, hey?

It’s still the “new” bike, though!

If the geometry sorted, then it won’t make a massive difference. I think I used the dual position on my Lyrik precisely NIL times

I liked the Rev U-turns on my hardtail but I wouldn’t change the travel depending on whether I was climbing etc I would change the travel depending on what type of riding I was doing, 120 for jumpy stuff, 130-140mm for trails, 150mm for DH.

It was a nice feature to have but I would’ve managed just fine with them fixed to 130mm for everything.

Selecting long travel option on the 34 talas is a mental switch for ‘hero mode’….
Mental.. As in, in my own head 😉
