  • Abus Cable loop – what alternatives?

    Hi all

    I’m considering the above lock and I’m sure there must be alternatives. I’d like a very lightweight capable of tangling around 2 bikes while I go and have a snack mid ride. It just needs to be capable of putting off an opportunist. A security tag like you find looped through the arm of an expensive coat with an alarm would be ideal.

    Belkin laptop cable
    does for me in a pinch.

    theres the retractable cable locks aswell, look good enough for cake stops. Could probably chew through them given enogh time though.
