    So on our second day of riding after helping guide/herd cornwall mtb club round Haldon we went out. The ride went like this (e….

    2 descents – climb back up to Ridge cafe for tea and fairy cakes

    2 and a half descents, some building and other general mincing – climb back up to cafe for tea and beans on toast.

    More descents, crash and break front shifter leading to ill-thought-out use of granny ring condemning me to long flat spin in granny ring. Come Home – order new shifter from CRC and “a few other bits”.

    So it would seem like Haldon is riding ok at the moment then?
    Haven’t ben up there since before xmas.

    was up there tonite , trails are nice and dry , still well worn , but you can get a good 2 / 3 hour or so loop out of it , say 5 out of 10 imo i shall be up ther on thurs eve if anyone eles is about.
