I’m far from a Murray fan, and actually quite admire Laura Robson normally.

But my god she was useless this evening! He’d have been better off on his own in that Doubles final, she lost them that game… He was in the form of his life and was strutting his stuff having just beaten Federer, she was making mistakes a good club player wouldn’t make!

Poor Murray is obviously nervous in interviews. He can’t keep his right hand off his face. I thought at one stage he was going to pick his right eyeball out.

she’s only just broke into the top 100 as a singles player – she did pretty well helping them get to the final and she played pretty well in the first set, before they then upped their game. Even then she played some pretty brave shots up until then end.

Next time you get to the Olympic finals you can let her know what she should do.
