It is impressive to see the inside of the cockpit, happened a few times back up in Northumberland.

We were walking near to RAF somethingorother in Devon and the approach to the runway crosses the canal we were walking on

Kin hell he’s low we thought as the jet swept overhead
Woh he must be having problems we thought as he circled round and passed overhead again
    Wonder what’s wrong (third time)

We stood there for 5 passes until we realised we would be in the jet wash if he landed 😳

I think the walkers are saying “Do you realise that isn’t a bridleway and you have no right of way to be there”

Excuse me. I think you’ll find this is a FOOTpath.

Edit – sorry same joke, same time.

Interesting picture… the photographer must have been using a long lens to get that much compression yet the image of the ‘plane is pin sharp and the exposure must have been very short, judging from the lack of blurring as he panned past the watchers. Must have been a very fast lens and good camera.

I think I’d be more impressed if it is photoshopped – depth of field and all the out-of-focus foreground bits in front of the plane all look flawless.

“Ok, you do have a better drone than me”

which is why drone use has to be regulated, only a matter of time before there is a civil/military aircraft accident due to a drone (if there hasn’t been already)

still think fast jet pilot has to be the best job in the world, apart from the killing people bit.

a kid a couple of years below me at school was a typhoon pilot and is now in the red arrows, pretty awesome!
