    is there one?

I have used Ergon GP1/GS1/GX1 full anatomic grip on a flat bar commuter, with bar ends, for ages but I’m after a less extreme design, with more grippiness for my 29er.

I know Ergon do their GA1 which seems to fit the bill but it doesn’t actually look that anatomic – is it?

Another option is the Spesh BG contour, which is less extreme than the Ergons, but the surface is quite smooth…

    Any others that are:
    a) grippy
    b) not round?

Specialised Body Geometry? Slightly less extreme, I ran one for a while.

yeah, if they did a grippier version that would be fine. I may just take a file to a pair…

Got some GA1s on and they’ve got a nice feel to them. Don’t know if they are truly ergonomic but ive not had any hand problems since I put em on

Could be different bars too tho – gone from 762 flat bars to 750 carbon with 30mm rise

+1 for the body geometry grips.

I run mine with these bar-ends on my 29er

Btw – GA1s have 4 different thicknesses of rubber and internal cutouts to help form the shape. Meant to be installed properly to get em to work right
