  • A good week to go car shopping?

My missuses (‘?) motor is nearing the end of her old pcp contract and she needs a newish motor for work.

We were pretty impressed by how dealers were competing with each other, all quoting Christmas, new year etc.

Times have changed a bit since 3 years ago. So is this a genuine deal thing then, or will it be even better come Jan 1st? She’s keen on a deal – pre registered / delivery miles, medium sized, 5 doors (and some other work related conditions).

Ive only ever bought 2 cars from dealers but I did each deal at the end of the month and ££££ rapidly vanished from the sticker price each time

Possibly try Pistonheads for some real advice 🙂

1 Find the car she wants.
    2 Find someone selling it.
3 Offer what you want to pay.
    4 Sign cheque or negotiate.

At the end you’ll only be arguing about a couple of hundred – which over 3 years is bugger all. So decide whether to buy, or walk (and return to 1).
