Always used older 130mm on the frame and I realise it is designed for 130mm. Opportunity to change to 09 140 maxle lite revs (pike lower version) – good idea?

Mike – I am the original owner with receipt – So want to keep in warranty.
    Although frame seems bullet proof.

    I wouldn't worry about 10mm

    I use 150mm on a MK1 PA and Im a fat f00k 😕

    Wally, 140mm will be fine.

I'm using a 140mm 2009 Rev Maxle on my mk1 520 PA without any issue. Climbs and descends better than I do.

I did inners uplift on my 520 with a mate on his 853 last Sunday, both with 140mm pikes. Great fun.

Not 853, but I've had both mk1 (with the extra tube) and mk2 (without, but pre-73mm BB and CEN testing) on 140mm Pikes. No big difference over the 130mm Revs I had before, other than an improvement in stiffness.
