  • 80mm or 120mm on a large singular swift?

So it looks like all the 100mm bargain forks that I saw in the sales earlier this month have been sold…

But can still get some manitou tower pro in 120mm or some Rebas in 80mm

Both for around £200. Which would you go for?

I think the angles aren’t too far off an Inbred, & a 120mm was too long on the one I had.

I upgraded from 80 to 100mm and didn’t notice a huge difference. From what I have heard 120mm doesn’t handle that well.

    swift with 120mm manitou minutes

it’s ok if you run them pretty soft but it’s much happier around 100mm max

Definitely go for 100mm – 120 is too long. Pretty sure you can reduce the travel on a Tower pro?
