    Works ok in as much as it spins, fills up and drains water and doesn’t make any unusual noises.

    But still…. Will I die?

    Have you run it through a 90 degree wash to clear out the gunge? The door seal can accumulate nasty whiffs too as can the dispenser. The dispenser should come out for easy cleaning.

    No, haven’t tried that. I just assumed the electrical burn smell meant exactly that, something electrical (motor, brushes) were on the way out.

    But I’ll give the dispenser a clean and try the hot wash too.
