    MTB I ride flats & now need new flat shoes. I have been looking at 5 tens to replace my Merralls and maybe even to try clipless type as I have a pair DX pedals, not sure whether to give em a go problem is that If i dont like them will I still feel the insert in the sole if the blanks placed back in or just forget the whole idea and stick with standard 5 ten.

    The new minaar style spd 5 10 shoes won’t work well with flat pedals if you don’t like them. I’d try some cheaper shoes to see if you like spd’s first before shelling out lots on the 5 10 ones.
