I’ve had a Chameleon for many years now, around ten I think. So it’s time for a change I reckon.

456 Carbon any good? Anyone had joy butting bigger than 26″ wheels on one. Tell me your stories.

found the top tube a bit long at first
Not much clearance so not getting bigger wheels on it
Not sure of they have upgraded or changed it from mine mind

Running a mk1 with a 2 degree angle set headset.

Love it. Plenty of room out back for a a fat tyre and I am pretty sure some people have put 650b wheels in but might need to be careful with the tyre OD and width and it will raise the BB but if you fit an andle set then this will bring the Bb back down. The Evo one basically had the angleset built in so was slacker and had a lower but you might be able to fit one as well and get it really low and slack for the bigger wheels.

Mine started out as 3×9 with 100-130 revs and 717 rims and was a grea XC bike. I then started enjoying it more as a hooligan bike and it now has 1×11, 150mm forks, 2 deg angleset, wide bars, 35mm stem (down from my original 70!) wide tyres on some AM carbon rims and Hope E4 brakes. Quite a change and I love it. Got a 29er for boring XC stuff 😀
