I can get my hands on some very cheap hubs to build some tougher wheels for my Roadrat, but the rear is a 36h, and I can’t find a 36h 700c rim….
Well, not on CRC anyway, I’m still looking.

    Any ideas?
I tend to like 36h rear wheels, too

Mavic A319s if they still make them. On my shopping/touring/pubbing bike

OK, I’ll have a look at them, but I’ve just found Mavic open pros and open sports in 36h at SJS cycles too

try searching for tandem wheels/rims because they need more spokes. i know we built a 48 spoke 700c rear wheel in my bikeshop but can’t remember what there front one was… will try find out though.

Rigida Chrinas or Sputniks depending on how beefy you want:

Mavic a319 or a317 work for me, try SJS cycles as they stock loads of touring type stuff.

Cheers guys, some of those Rigida rims look like what I’m after. I should be able to knock up a decent set of wheels for about £55 all in with a bit of luck…!

    😀

(Anybody want some Shimano Tiagra wheels in a few weeks please email me! Good wheels, but just too light for what I subject them to)
