I’m thinking of a cross bike to replace my current one.

Budget around £2k, hoping to see something in the sales as the season ends (although I guess most people don’t race so this may not affect prices).

Currently got a kinesis pro6 with 105 and bb7 brakes. I was hoping for

    105/ultegra hydraulic discs
HT2 bottom bracket as it is cross and I get through them
    Internally routed cables
Full carbon but this seems difficult
Good mud clearance and a simple design so it picks up less mud and is easier to clean.

Would consider a self build if the right frame presented itself.

Usage is mixed – long gravel and off road rides – 150miles but also CX racing.

At the minute it is hard to see past Rose Bikes’ offerings – I have a roadie from them and really like it. Planet X is probably out 😉 canyon are ok but not as good value as the Rose.

    Anything else to consider?

Triton cycles are doing the superX for £1400, which seems like a v tasty price for a boss carbon CX bike. Would need a HT2 adaptor to meet your BB criterion, and does not have internally routed cables.

    I’d have a SuperX
