    A good 29er’s a brilliant bike, a bad one feels like a 26er.”
Well it must be said that that statement is as stupid as any of the anti-29er comments.

I was trying to communicate on the thread’s level 🙂

    Is this a joke…

29ers are a serious matter. Not something to joke about.

partyboy- single speed on the chase is the truth, anyone seen using gears is some sort of weak legged dainty maid who needs to be beaten with a poly bag filled with dog eggs and tied to a tree to be left for the doggers.

In the morning when they have a jaxi that looks like it’s been fingered by an elephant, they can then be gently reconditioned to the ways of big wheels and one gear.

to get back to the op. is the suspension set up right?

what tyres on your 26/ 29 and what pressures?

on a serious note, from memory the tallboy suspension is very pressure sensitive with slight deviations from the manfuacturer’s recommendations making it feel like poo. Get it right and it’s meant to be a beast

Pete I really think the experience you are describing with the tall boy points at setup problem, either tyres, suspension or frame size. I’ve experimented with a lot of these on my mine feel free to email me to avoid the whole 29er debate your getting here 🙂
