Last nights ride has convinced me I need something toothier on than the Ikons – as much time on arse as on bike – but I don’t want full on mud tyres, just something with a bit more bite that clears – Spec Controls / Bony Muds I guess, that sort of thing. Anyone spotted any deals at the mo?

Bike-discount.de have lots of cheap schwalbe tires, I picked up some 27.5 magic Mary’s, tubeless snakeskin evo, the expensive versions for £23, only difference is they are cube branded with a tiny logo on sidewall.
Considering ordering a pair of racing ralph lite skins for the 29er, for similar money.
