    Lovely new(ish) Alex Volar 2.1 tubeless-ready rims currently with WTB Nano 2.1s fitted.

    Whatabout Tarmac touring? Haven’t the foggiest about sizes when it comes to 700c/29er compatibility

    Have happily used Marathon Racers on a 26er. Something similar maybe? WWYD?

    It’s a rigid drop-bar 29er with MTB bias (Genesis Vagabond)

    Stock tyres are very capable for multi-surface with offroad bias – but looking for a road-biased tyre to deal with both laden and unladen touring on back lanes and B roads, maybe with the odd farm track. So something fast-rolling. Not too heavy yet with some puncture-protection and decent longevity.

    Not a lot of room on the bike to fit guards (not a chance with Nano 2.1s) so thinking 35c?

    Currently eyeing Marathon Mondials
