    Yay or nay?

Why? I have a 29er Scandal with the RST M29 80mm and it's fine. I suspect that a 120mm will push the front end up somewhat giving a weird riding position even if the frame is happy to take the strain.

I guess the whole marketing hype behind what's all mtn vs. xc etc.. is getting me thinking about how much my current reba can handle…

i'm a big(ish) boy – mebbe 205 lbs, naked – and am increasingly spending more time dropping things (like the ones at the freeride park at GT or inners, if ya ken them) and jumping my bike.

i have the 2007 reba SL @ 100 and it 'seems' to be coping fine with things. but, the newer reba (power bulges, maxle etc.) is quickly becoming the 'go to' fork for strength, stiffness etc..

i could flip my stem to compensate and love the way the inbred rides.

just wondering if the frame will be fine. and also wondering how much abuse my 'XC'marketed fork will take…i shall ride both until they die, whatever happens…

    ya dig?
