Looking for a bit more give than my current Thomson post on my fat bike.

I have a Salsa Regulator on one bike but they only come in layback guise.

So looking for an inline ti post 400-410mm any recommendations?

I am considering the Cannondale SAVE post but I have a thing about carbon…..

I had a Lynskey one – was a bit creaky without lots of fibre grip on the head components.

Won’t the fat tyres on your fat bike take out 99% of any trail buzz, or am I missing something?

I’d look at a carbon one tbh, the SDG I-Beam one I had was very comfy (and light).

I had a Cannondale SAVE post on my Cannondale, it really was quite comfy in taking out some of the rear trail end buzz, I was impressed with it.

However, if the carbon post failing is always in the back of your mind then I suppose its not worth it.

However, I thought it was very good.

    Cheers guys 🙂

@ monkeyboyjc – you’d be surprised. The un damped bobbing can get a bit tiring after a while 😉

I’d suggest it would be almost impossible to distinguish, using your butt, the difference in the elasticity modulus between an Ali based alloy and Ti. When said component is fixed to such a system as OP intends.

    You pays your money….

Elfano do a nice inline on bicyclehero’s site.

    £95 iirc.

or Van Nich are nice too but apparently I have just been told are a nightmare to install/remove saddle.

Thinking more general comfort Solo rather than bum comfort 😉

Got a Chinese Ti one. Seems fine to me. Bit creaky with a Ti railed saddle but a drop of WD solves that

KingdomBike does not do Ti seatposts in 27.2

They are awesome guys to deal with. Highly recommended (I run their Ti handlebars and they are a great product).
