Have ordered the rc3 but since found a barely used ccdb coil at a good price. What wil be best? Has air come far enough in 3 years to outperform the older coil?

This is for alpine riding on an alpine 160.

I’ve owned a CCDB coil and a Monarch plus rc3 (not the 2015), the ccdb will outperform the coil all day long. For the use you describe I’d get that. But be aware that you’re still buying a second hand shock that will need servicing.

Good point about the servicing, didnt account for that and wont have time to get it done. Rc3 wins that one
