Tell me, I don't know whether to get a 2009 or wait for the 2010!

Any idea when Hotlines will get them?

It looks something like this; Exclamation marks where I think there has been a change since last year. There is a chainguide on it too; nothing marked on it though.

The Colour is beige/greyish with same kind of white and green details as 2009 and not very nice at all.

I really like the RX brakes so far and that would be a reason to get 2010 model I guess. There will be a 218 too this year so you might be able to get a nicer color there. I was really only after the frame.
It is a lot of bike for the money, just needs to go on a diet for a while.

Cheers for that. Brakes and BB/cranks look like the key changes (both better probably).

I only want the frame really too – just picked up a coil totem for a steal on ebay at the weekend and would need to get a reducer headset if this comes with a tapered steerer.

Swings and roundabouts then. Will see what's available.

Sorry for the thread hijack nasher!

I already have 3 spicy's and a froggy…so no jealousy here, in fact i am looking at buying 5 new bikes!!!

Just wanted to know whether its worth selling off our current fleet (in v good nick) and getting the 2010 stuff. But higher prices and or poorer spec may put me off it.

Agreed the new Froggy colours are not so nice.

nasher – how do you find the froggy for climbing and general trail use?

I realise they are heavy but I'm considering getting the froggy frameset with the air shock and taking over bits from my current bike. Current bike is c32lbs so not that fussed about weight issues.

mine is a bit heavy, I use it for DH duties.

However i rode the air version in kent a fwe months ago and it was reasonably fast, just aslightly heavier spicy.

Also a lot of our french clients have air equipped froggy's with totem air forks and good light kit…. they are much sprightier than mine, however i doubt it can plough through stuff lime my beast does!!!

Do you guys know what the spec for the 2010 Froggy 518 is?

What colour is the 518? Can only find pics of the 718 and 918, but can't find info about the lower end anywhere.
