    Is aynone using a Thule Proride 591 roof rack without any modifications to carry a 08 Giant Reign X0?

    We use the Thule fork mount carrier to put the Reign X on the car. No way round it.

    I'd steer away from using a pro-ride with any bike with a box section frame (like the Giant's hydroformed downtube). As the clamp is based around a round or oval downtube, it doesn't grip square tubes very well. I had one bike flop out of the clamp in a stiff crosswind and I've heard from a few people that I'm not alone.
