  • 2006 SC Heckler, what is the shock length……………

    Hello could someone please confirm the correct eye to eye shock length in both metric and imperial, plus the correct stroke length again in i,perial and metric.

    Any views on air or coil as a better option?

    7.875″ x 2.25″ gives ~5.5″ travel, 7.875 x 2.00 gives ~5″ travel.

    Coil gives a better ride on mine but is heavier (DHX5). I also have a rock shox pearl which makes the bike feel much lighter but definately performs more poorly on big hits or stutter bumps.
