    So, as the new build slowly crawls along its now time to fit the new chain.

    Does the normal rule apply? Big to big plus 2 links with the shock compressed?

    I’ve never had anything other than double or triple before and don’t want to destroy a new drivetrain.

    I’m sure sram recommended more check there website out think they recommend 4 links with there 1×11 setup

    Yeah, I seem to remember reading 4 links in s review. I’m running the XT M8000 set up.

    I’ll try with the shock compressed and see where I get to.

    I’ve just watched the One up installation video. Incredibly helpful

    They say big to big with 4 links whilst compressed.
