I have just converted one bike to 1 x10 and before I do my next bike I wanted to check how to get optimal chain length?
On bike 1 I just put it in the 42t ring and took away all slack which in the middle rings gives a nice right angled dangle. This looks ok apart from when in the 11t ring as the derailurer is not tucked away.
Is short as possible the correct approach?
