So, I’ve got a handful of 18650 cells, and a charger.
Does anyone make a rear light which uses them? I’m not looking for stupid bright, just sensibly so (maybe with high-power option for fog!) but long-lasting.

magic shine make one that works on the normal dx/magicshine batteries (4×18650 IIRC?)

Not stupefyingly bright, and annoyingly the center (bright) LED can’t be lit allong with the ring of normal outer LED’s, and like most magishine stuff theres 20 useless variations of flashing to cycle through.

that’s mad! I don’t want/need one that takes 4 cells. I’m thinking basically a DX-style flashlight, with the head at an angle to the battery, and with a red lens.
    Might make one myself…

THe Magicshine is bright with nice flash modes. Trouble is they don’t work for very long. I have 2 dead ones if anyone id handy at fixing them, get in touch.
