Anyone else had one fail ?
Nicely over engineered bit of kit, spoilt by weak pin / washer part.
I’m not an overly big or strong bloke, just adjusted so it can be undone easily enough if I need to on the trail.
About nine months old, cleaned properly, lightly greased.
    Utter bloody rubbish.
Replacement non QR type one ordered. Hex key in pack already.
Going to talk to LBS about warranty , but need to get back out again.
Luckily I was able to borrow a mates the other day as it failed when removing wheel to put bike in the van, before riding, otherwise I’d probably be utterly hacked off, as opposed to a bit whingey 😉

    DT Swiss RWS?

This happened to mine ages ago. It broke off at an angle so I cut it square, took the sharp edge off and put some tape around the qr lever so it doesn’t dig in. Seems to have worked OK.

But as stated above, dt Swiss rws skewers are the way to go. I have them on my road bike and I swear by them.

I don’t think the thru-axles are interchangeable between mfrs- so you are stuck with RS axles, or KCNC or TUNE replacements (which are designed for weight weenies & are pricey)
