    I have a Salsa Cromoto Grande, I think it’s got what looks like a 15mm Maxle fitting. Do I have to buy a Rockshox Maxle or are there third party options? £30 for a QR is a bit steep…

    £30 is cheap compared to most other options out there! There are different designs – so you need to know if it is a Rock Shox style (Fox and DT are different). Assuming that you can use a different one though.

    I’ve not seen any indication that it’s not the Rockshox standard – it says ‘maxle’ on the website…

    Maxle does mean Rockshox, so you will need one of them.

    Is the fork new? They come with Maxles.
