Please can anyone advise if an X7 rear mech will handle the 36t sprocket, or will it touch?

Thinking of putting a 12-36 cassette on to my Scott Voltage with a single ring up front, you see.

I thought all of the new 36t cassettes were 10 speed so will only work with 10 speed mech, shifter and chain. X7 is now available in 10 speed

You can get SLX 12-36t 9 speed cassettes, not 11-36s though.

They’re not designed to work with bigger than a 34 but a long cage with a single ring will probably be ok.

Cheers.Think I’ll get the HG61 cassette and give it a go. If it doesn’t work then I’ll just have to dig a little deeper in my pocket for an SLX mech and shifter.
