I need to replace my cassette and am looking for a new (3x)10 speed cassette. Now I’m running a SRAM PG1020 which works fine for me. I have a budget of maximum 60 euro.

I looked on different stores and it looks like I have many options. I tried to find and read comparisons before different cassettes but have barely found any useful info. This are my options, I made a small chart where the average price of the cassette is also displayed :

Do you guys have any experience with any of these ? What would you recommend me ?

    In the true stw way
Ill recommend what I have and say the sunrace mx3

    Good range and shifting
    Long lasting
Cheaper than the sram you currently have(edit.. Read 1020 as 1070 )

Yup. I concur. having said that though, I use the XT and it has been totally faultless for almost a year now 🙂

if youre sticking with 3x, i wouldnt bother with a wider range cassette than 11-36, and slx at £28 would make me smile 😀

    Thanks guys 🙂
I was wondering if it’s sort of a ‘you get what you pay for’ thing, regarding the quality and durability, or if all are more or less made with the same material.

Sram 1070 is probably lightest, 1050 best value (for 11-36).

Really this needs to be a scatter graph plotting cost against weight 🙂

I put a Sunrace on my filing cabinet.
It seems a decent bit of kit.
Only went for it because of the range though (11-42).
Probably splitting hairs but XT seems to shift a little smoother.

Just get the cheapest or next-cheapest SRAM 11-36, assuming you’ve got a 22 or 24t granny that will be plenty.
