Do you think we can do 101 ways of getting rid of slugs? – just because

    1. Pick up and slam them between two bricks
    2. (a pretty micarbe one) – collect loads and stick them in a blender then paint around the area that they are in with juice, its like vlad the impalier they don’t like sensing death of their own kind.
    3. Beer traps
    4. Keep any areas free of places for them to hide.

    7. balance them on a banger, light, run, Bang…..SPlat!
    8. Ferrets. They love em! perticually fond of beer soaked ones. (they keeps cats out too for an added bonus!)

    SLightly different but for sanails.

They are all beginning to cluster for semi-hibernation. If you find where they are hiding there will probably be loads in one place. I moved a couple of paving slabs that were leaning against the fence and found about 60 snails all stuck to the back.

Now all splatteded against a tree just over the back fence. It is quite funny watching the birds trying to eat the slug remains from the side of a big oak tree when they have nothing to stand on. Black birds cannot hover

Put slug on drive. Stamp* on slug. Job done.

*When stamping on slug be sure to do this in a hopping motion, so as not to get slug entrails on your non-stamping shoe or trouser leg.

A Flymo. Does a lovely job of skinning them alive, depositing sloughed skin to the left and squidgy internals to the right.

Nematode worms are absolutely brilliant (look up Nemaslug). However you don’t get the staisfaction of personally killing the slimy little b*stards

    slug sushi!

seeing as sushi is raw food, does this mean the slugs are alive? surely they can’t be cooked as that would go against sushi etiquette!!!

Bushwacked – i’m with you little sods are getting on my carpets somehow & short of waiting until 03.00 to pick up any I can find there seems little way of getting ride of them.

A trail of salt on floorboards or tiles but slimed slug is very difficult to get out of a carpet

Yeah – the slugs in our house hid inbetween the cracks in the bricks under the floorboards and only come out at night! SO can’t put salt or pellets down as there is no where to put it.
