Utter tosh. 100 tonnes of gold is about half a year's global output. I've not seen anything from the City analysts telling me that the reason for the gold price rise is not, after all, a flight from bonds, but is, in fact a supply:demand imbalance driven by a wannabe Bond villain.
At current prices that's over $5bn....the mythical 'Far Eastern billionaire' would have to have sunk every penny of his earnings into just the gold.
Really, really likely.

looks like the Pic is 'shopped anyway. Look at the water-line - no spray between the hull and the wake.
ETA - looking at the pics - maybe 6m+ wide (perhaps a little more? 30-40m long?
